Where do you source your essential oils?

We get our oils from several reputable distillers who have provided us with their Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) reports on every batch of oil they sell. We only use organic, therapeutic grade oils and therefore, each report is thoroughly read to make sure the components match the therapeutic properties we are looking for in that particular oil. This also guarantees that the oils are free from heavy metals and other contaminants.

Many of your products contain MCT Oil, what is that, and is it organic?

MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglyceride, which is a fair trade certified, Non-GMO, organically grown palm oil. We only do business with members who are a part RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil). These companies only conduct business with manufacturers who adhere to environmentally sustainable practices.

How safe are your products, and can they be ingested?

Our products contain only plant botanicals and essential oils along with a few other natural ingredients. They are absolutely safe to use around food and the home but because they are very strong, we recommend that they not be ingested. A couple of our products do contain wintergreen oil, which is toxic if ingested, therefore, it is recommended that you read each label thoroughly before using and keep them away from small children.

Are your products, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free?

All of our products are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, corn free, and soy free.

Do any of your products contain alcohol?

No, none of our products contain alcohol. Our products containing plant botanicals are tinctured using only organic vegetable glycerin made from palm oil.

Do any of your products contain chemicals and preservatives?

Our products are free from all chemicals, dyes, parabens, heavy metals, mineral oils and laurel and laureth sulfates. In our water-based products, we do use a small amount of organic citric acid.

What is the shelf life of your products?

When properly stored in a cool place, our shelf life is one year from the manufacturing date.

Why don't you sell single essential oils?

Essential oils, by themselves without proper dilution, can be sensitizing to the system. When used full strength, they have the potential to cause health problems in certain individuals. It is because of this, that we only sell synergistic blends of oils that are handcrafted using safe and appropriate dilutions.

How secure is your website?

Mindful Mixtures features safeguards that allow you to enjoy your shopping experience without having to worry about the security of your credit card transactions. Our checkout process takes place in a secure environment using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts the data you submit. SSL technology is an industry standard and among the best software available today for secure e commerce transactions. We do not share or sell any information you submit to Mindful Mixtures.

How are your products packaged?

We strive to use recycled packing material whenever possible. We reuse bubble wrap, cardboard and brown paper.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship internationally using the United States Postal Service Priority Mail. International shipping charges are based on weight, and where it is being shipped. Please call (949) 234-8134 for more information

What is your Return Policy?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, or if you would like to exchange it, we will gladly process an exchange or refund the full amount paid (less shipping charges) within 10 days of purchase. However, Mindful Mixtures is not responsible for items lost in transit, nor are we responsible to replace items that have been modified, or which have been subjected to neglect or damage due to accident, fire, water, or improper use or application.

Custom Blends cannot be returned or exchanged.

What if I want to change/cancel my order after it has been placed?

Our orders are processed quickly. Cancellations must be made within 2 hours following order completion. Once the oils have been mailed, we will require full payment
